You may have family and friends who are eternally lost, who find it difficult to believe a loving God will punish their disobedience. They may view "God letting them be lost" as God being mean spirited. But the Bible is clear:

God will punish disobedience at the final judgment - 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9

Understand that God hates sin - Proverbs 15:9

According to (Isaiah 59:1-2), our iniquities and sins, have separated us from God.  Our actions!  As a result, God must turn His face against us - 1 Peter 3:12

It only takes the effort of opening your Bible to see that God always punishes sin.

In Genesis 2:16-17, God told the man what he could and could not do. In Genesis 3:14-19, Adam & Eve are punished because they disobeyed God.

In Genesis 4, God respected Abelís offering, which was made in obedience, but God did not respect Cainís offering, which was the offering Cain wanted to make, not the one God instructed.  God's rejection put envy in Cainís mind and lead him to murder his brother. God punished him - "Ömy punishment is greater than I can bear" - Genesis 4:13

Those who think God will not punish them for their disobedience because of Godís great love need to realize there is a penalty for sin. There is a price that must be paid for transgressing Godís law.  And we all have sinned and must pay that price - Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23

But God has made a way to be free from the penalty of sin through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

The debt of sin death has been paid for us.

God is not mean spirited.  He is just, but not mean spirited!  He has provided an escape from the guilt of sin. However, you must be obedient to Him and accept that payment, reconciling yourself to God.  Read Revelation 22:17.  Why not become obedience to God today?

Accept the Salvation that God offers:  Hear - Believe - Repent - Confess - Be Baptized.  Be Saved.
